1. What certifications does Radimage Healthcare India Pvt Ltd hold and What sets Radimage’s calibration facility apart?

Radimage is an ISO 9001-2015 certified company and operates an AERB Authorized and NABL Accredited Laboratory (Certificate Nos: CC-1027 and CC-4685).The facility is traceable to national and international standards. Calibration is performed using certified reference sources, under controlled conditions as per ISO/IEC 17025 norms.

2. What’s the experience of Radimage as a calibration lab.?

Radimage has calibrated over 19,000 radiation monitoring instruments worldwide since 2014.

3. Is your laboratory compliant with international laboratory standards?

Yes, Radimage operates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

4 .What is the validity of the calibration certificates provided?

In compliance with AERB guidelines, calibration certificates are valid for 2 years for Radiation Monitoring Instruments (RMIs) and Dose Calibrators. SSD teletherapy chambers and Brachy Well chambers calibration certificates are valid for 3 years.

5. Where are Radimage’s laboratories located?

Radimage operates two units: Unit I is located at G-236, Sector-63, Noida for RMIs and Dose Calibrators Unit II is at 503, Ecotech-III, Udyog Kendra-II, Greater Noida for Teletherapy and Brachy Chambers.

6. Is Radimage approved by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)?

Yes, Radimage is both AERB and BARC approved, in addition to being NABL accredited.

1. How can I confirm my order?

Orders must be confirmed via email or courier along with full advance payment, after obtaining the quotation.

2. What are the accepted payment methods?

Payment should be made through Online, RTGS or Demand Draft (DD) in favor of Radimage Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd.

3. How long is a quotation valid?

Quotations are valid for 60 days from the date of issue.

4. What details are required before dispatching an instrument?

You must share the instrument’s make, model, serial number, operating voltage, shipping address, mode of transport, institute name & GST number, along with any special instructions. Fill the respective calibration form and send it to us for priority appointment.

5. Is GST applicable to the services?

Yes, GST is applicable @ 18% or as per current regulations prevailing at the time of actual calibration.

1. Do you offer pickup and drop and same-day calibration?

Yes, nationwide pickup and drop is possible through reputed courier service at extra charge. Same-day calibration options are available. Please contact lab.

2. What happens if my instrument fails calibration?

Instruments that fail calibration still incur full charges because the calibration process was fully performed. No disputes accepted at a later date.

3. Is there a provision for free re-calibration?

If an instrument fails and is repaired and resubmitted within 3 months, the re-calibration is free of cost.

4. Does Radimage provide repair services?

Repair services are offered only upon customer consent and the availability of required components. However, repair timelines are not guaranteed.

5. Are separate charges applied for instruments used for both mR/hr and CPM or CPS?

Yes, instruments used for both parameters require separate calibration and are charged as two calibrations.

6. What is the tolerance level for calibration?

Calibration is performed as per AERB guidelines with a ±15% tolerance.

7. What specific information is guaranteed on the calibration certificate?

The certificate includes the instrument details, measured values, operating conditions, percentage deviation, calibration factors and an official pass/fail status.

8. Is Radimage legally responsible for third-party laboratory calibrations?

No. While Radimage can facilitate calibration for items like gas detectors or thermometers through partnered labs on request, they are not legally responsible for the results from these third-party facilities.

1. Who is responsible for packing the instrument?

Packing at the customer's end is their sole responsibility, and Radimage will use that same packaging for the return of the instrument.

2. How should I pack my instruments for safe transit?

Instruments should be wrapped in bubble/foam sheets, detectors packed separately, and display panels protected with thick thermocol. All inner sides of the box should be lined with foam/EPs.

4. Is there a courier service available for pickup?

Yes, pickup via courier is available on request, though customers are advised to arrange their own logistics for urgent needs.

5. Who bears the courier charges?

Courier charges to and from Radimage are to be borne by the customer.

6. What is the default transit insurance?

The default insurance cover is ₹5,000. Extra insurance is available @ 4% of the declared value of the instrument.

7. What happens if my instrument is damaged during transit?

Radimage is not liable for damage during transit. If an instrument is non-functional upon delivery, Radimage can retest it, but shipping costs must be paid by the customer.

8. Where should I ship my instrument?

9. What is the mandatory packaging for Dose Calibrators?

If you are couriering a Dose Calibrator, you must use only original OEM packaging to ensure its safety.

10. What are the specific requirements for packing multiple instruments?

If shipping multiple instruments in one box, you must use cushioning between them to prevent contact and damage during transit.

11. Can I send my instrument via a representative for faster service?

Yes, for same-day calibration, you may send the instrument with your representative, provided a prior appointment has been scheduled.

1. What documents and accessories should I send with the instrument?

Please include the Instruction Manual, the last Calibration Certificate, and all essential accessories like electrical, connecting cables and external detectors.

2. What special instructions apply to Dose Calibrators?

You must send the external detector, detector cable, and power cable. The chamber and monitor must be packed separately.

3. Should I send syringe dippers with my Dose Calibrator?

No, do not send syringe dippers as they are brittle. Radimage maintains spares in the lab.

4. Does Radimage handle third-party calibrations?

On request, Radimage can facilitate calibration for items like thermometers, barometers, gas detectors, and densitometers through partnered NABL authorised labs.

5. How long will Radimage store my instrument after calibration?

Radimage is not responsible for storage or upkeep of instruments if they are left for more than 15 days post-calibration.

6. What should I do if my instrument has a known fault before I send it?

You must ensure the instrument is in working condition before dispatch; if it is not, you are required to inform Radimage beforehand.

7. Is my data kept confidential?

Yes, all data shared by customers is kept strictly confidential.
